Museum changes between 1990 and 2010
Museum changes between 1990 and 2010 qmD
The two plans show changes to a museum since 1990. The most striking alteration has
been to the layout of the area. Archaeology gallery dimension has been separated into
two public spaces, which are Children’s interactive zone and Poster display area. At the
same time, statue display has been changed from along stairs to the centre of the whole
ground floor. However, it is noticeable that two areas covered by history have remained
the same. Also the Museum office stayed in the same place. Another important change
has been to the Reception counter arrangement, where is moved to the nearest of
Entrance. Meanwhile, Gift shop has been expanded and renamed, which has added
cafeteria. Taken as a whole, the ground floor of museum has undergone a number of
major alterations since 1990.
