More houses are needed in many countries to cope with increasing populations. Would it be better to build houses in existing towns and cities, or to develop new towns in rural areas?

In modern society, the countryside is considered to have available space for building new homes. Pertaining to this phenomenon, some people believe that it is important to protect this place rather than focusing on house construction. I am, however, against this opinion since I opine that building houses in rural areas is both essential and beneficial. To begin with, having new homes being established in the countryside is now a vital necessity. Because of the fact that when the population grows larger and larger, the demand for residential houses also increases. Nevertheless, it is unfortunate that free land is insufficient in crowded urban cities. Building houses in rural areas, therefore, is an imperative action in ensuring adequate dwelling places for the accumulating population. Another factor worth noting is that new house construction brings several benefits to the country as a whole. Regarding the countryside, more people living in this place can result in the development of its economy which shrinks the income gap with that of the cosmopolitan. And more importantly, the idea of rural housing will eliminate problems relating to overpopulation in densely populated cities such as pollution, high crime rate and unemployment. As the population All things fall into categories, new town buildings in the countryside, as far as I'm concerned, are necessary and valuable in the present time given the preceding mentioned explanations. Although there may be some disadvantages that need considering, its advantages still outweigh the others.
