In these days many people choose to study at colleges and universities which is located in abroad. Especially young adults prefer to study in a foreign countries. However there are both pros and cons to decide to do this. In this essay i will discuss some of the reasons why it is so popular and some of the challenges to be overcome. Let's begin by looking at the advantages of studying overseas one of the main positives of learning overseas is that it broadens our horizons. What i men by this is that you have the opportunity to meet people from various cultural backgrounds and you can learn to cope with foreign customs and foods. It makes you more rounded as a person. Secondly studying abroad can lead to a better quality of education. Because nowadays it is more cheaper and better. In addition by studying overseas you can gain qualifications and language skills, which may improve promotion prospects on your return. Turning to the other side of the argument, culture shock is a major problem. A lot if people who take a year out encounter a hard issue to cope with the language barrier or the food and general cultural differences. This can often lead to homesickness. Another issue is that it can be difficult to begin a new life from scratch. In other words, when you go to foreign, you should make new friends. This process takes time and can be especially challenging if there is also a language barrier to deal with. In conclusion I feel that there are clear more advantages to study abroad than disadvantages.
