In past, people were using more postal services as compared to recent times. The society was involved into more paper work to communicate, even offices were having more store rooms filled with papers. But, the fast growing world is now inclining towards modern technology which is fast and convinient.
Nowadays, due to increase in modern technology, the crowd are finding easy to communicate through various different mode. In addition to this, it is much easy and convinient for all to work as you will find everthing on your finger tips. For example, with the help of electronic gadgets we can directly connect to our loved ones when required, not only we can chat but also we can have video calls with them and make us feel closer to family. Specially for nuclear families, it is very helpful.
On the contrary, in past years, in order to connect anyone, it was required to send letters by post and was time consuming. The person had to wait for long to get the response from the other party. Any job work would get difficult and couldnt speed up the process. For example, if somebody wants to send invitation for marriage in foreign countries, they have to plan in advance and were required to send the postal card one to months earlier, there are also chances of delayed in the receival of the card.
I literally agree with this statement, that it is more convinient and easy to use modern ways for communication to minimize time and cost.
