This essay will discuss about the usage of books, radio and television for communication information and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each along with the relevance of each media for categories of various information. The use of media for communicating the information has changed drastically over a period of time, while books were the most popular medium in the past decade the role has changed and televison and radio have opened up faster ways for news and similar kind of information sharing.
First of all, discuss the thesis about the role of books in the communication of information. The books were a major source of sharing and storing for information that would be required to access for longer period of time and that could be shared with future generations of human race. While the latter part of the book as a tool for storing of information is quite relevent incurrent world the former part has been replaced by new methods of broadcasting. For example, religious books are used for communicating the information since many years and relevant news is maintained throughout history.
Secondly, enlisting the characteristics of radio and television as communication tool. While television and radio does have few similarities like the time required for sharing information has relatively low comapred to books as it required printing and physical movements. Though the storing of information features lack for radio television broadcasting could store information but that would require niche types of equipment to playback the information unlike books. Neverthelss comapred to books, they still lacks the effectiveness as storage medium.
