As the famous person, entrepreneur and writer points out, people divided into three categories. It is true that some people act differently than others, constantly make progress, work on new projects and recognized as “spontaneously combustible” group. Whereas, other show their willpower to support them or ignore to join despite the fact that they introduced with greatest ideas. The presence of self-started types individuals in life is a great achievement and the key to the success of any society. Because, they have a clear goal and a burning passion to achieve it. In addition, they are able to bring color into other people’s lives and inspire them to accomplish higher goals. If a person cannot be a self-started type, they should at least be flammable and support the projects of others.
I was a lucky to be born into a democratic Uzbek family. Ever since I remember, my parents and all family members have always supported me and encouraged me to get the best education and full-fill my career dreams. During my school years, I have been studying hard and doing what I was passionate about, such as going to dance lessons or participating sport clubs and competition. At an early age my parents raised me as an independent person, they never stopped me or not corrected my mistakes, but instead allowed me to realize it on my own and draw conclusions so as not do it again.
When I was in the 5th grade, new subjects, such as geography, history and biology were added to our school program. I did not know why I loved history, whether it was because my dad was a history teacher or for the first time in the history of our school, 6th graders won a history Olympiads and became famous in school, I also interested and decided to take part in the history Olympiads. I tried in advance to achieve my goal and spent my entire summer holiday reading history books. I finally achieved it and in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades I took part in science olympiads from history and won always honorary second and third places in district level. Of course, everyone except me was happy from this achievement, because I wanted to win not only the district level, but also the city level. Eventually, in 9th grade, I achieved this because of my consistency and dedication. I won 1st place in both the district and city level and was admitted to the law lyseum without an entrance exam.
I cannot say that, it was a significant achievement, but it was where I have been formed as a conscious person, have started to live with the purpose and have learned to act with discipline to achieve it. Most importantly, I realized that we cannot always be winner throughout life, that defeats teach us to be stronger and more experienced, and every dreams we strive for requires true dedication, strong determination and passion.
When I was in 9th grade, I had the option to continue my schooling or go to lyceum, and my dad suggested that I should leave my comfort zone, which means my school, and take advantage of my opportunity to get admission without exam. So far, I am pleased to have accepted this offer because continuing my studies at law lyceum has led me to choose my current profession and change my attitude towards people. I realized that even though I was the best student in school, the winner of science olympiad, I had always trouble in matters of relationship. I think it was because I, as a leader was indifferent to the opinions of other team members in group discussion and often considered myself superior to everyone. Seeing how my methodology teacher treats people, I realized my mistakes and understand that, as a good leader, person should always respect other’s opinions and should consider when making decisions.
I studied at the academic lyceum which is under Tashkent state university of law, so there were established strong relationship between this lyceum and the university. Almost every week, teachers from this university came to us and conducted workshop and seminars on actual legal topics. Even once, the coordinators of the American volunteer project Street Law came and organized the training on human rights. At that time, I have appeared strong desire to become a lawyer and to enter this university and participating in the Street law project. I have now achieved this goal as well, I have been working on my favorite volunteer project for two years and I think I have even small contribution to increase legal culture and awareness of the society by teaching schoolchildren.
The main reason I chose the legal profession is that I understand if people have the higher level of legal awareness the less problems there will be in this society. I would like to contribute to this in through continuing my career as a law teacher in the future. Because being teacher in law field, is the best way to help more people.
As a person, I now consider myself a flammable or self-started type depending on the situation, and I think that continuing my teaching career in the future will help me reach the top level of self-started type.
