Many people prefer to live in a small town others prefer to live in big cities. What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a small town and big city? Where would you prefer to live?

In modern world, people’s living place differs from each other. Some people wants to live in big cities and others prefer to live in small town. In this essay I’m going to discuss advantages and drawbacks of living in small towns and big cities. To commence with small town, it is beneficial in many ways. First and foremost, small towns have less population. It directly leads to less pollution. There are increased chances of living in fresh environment in small towns. In addition, small town people are more cooperative and humble to each other. On the on the other hand it has few advantages too. Lack of enough sources of education and income is major concern for small town people. Also, some time transportation system in not enough to reach at many small towns. Hence, these are the major downsides of the living in small towns. Living in a big cities have many advantages. Like increased numbers of employment sources. All the facilities are easily available in big city. For example, medical facilities, enough transportation systems like city buses and metro service. Also, for mega cities are educational hub. You can find lot of universities and college in mega cities. Talking about down side of living in a big city, large population of city leads to increased numbers of vehicles on roads and as a consequences, you find huge traffic jams on the road in peak hours of the day. Moreover, residence in big cities are very congested, you can find small sized house in high cost. Due to such drawbacks, I prefer to live in a small town rather than big cities. In conclusion it can be said that, there are numbers of advantage and disadvantage in living in both small town and big cites. Therefore, people’s choice of living places differs on the basis of their comfort zones.
