It is widely thought that only government bodies and big companies can take actions in the environment improvement. While there is nothing individuals can do to develop it. In my opinion, large entities have more resources to make an improvement. However, collectively, individuals can also create a powerful positive impact on the environment. To begin with, large entities such as governments and corporations have more resources in terms of financial and human capital. First, governments have experts who can advise on methods and necessacy policies to improve the environment. For instance, they have to reinforce stricter law on deforestation, nature invasion, and wildlife hunting. Regarding the large companies, they generally have the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department that initiate activities and projects to make a better change for the environment, especially those companies listed in the Stock Exchange. However, all of us, as an individual, can also take part in the environmental development. The simpliest way is to practice the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - in our daily lives. For examples, we can do waste separation at home to facilitate the reuse and recycle process. This, in turns, helps create less waste and save environment. In addition, during the trips especially in the nature lanscapes, we should participate in responsible tourism where we try to create no harms to the nature and the wild lives. Small actions collectively surely lead to powerful impact. To sum up, governments and large organizations may have more resources to improve the environment but it does not mean that individuals can do nothing to make a better change. Everyone, both individual and organizational level, is reponsible for saving and improving our environment. We only have one Globe, so it is crucial to take actions now.
