If there is no such investment in protection by the government, we would hardly acquire an opportunity to get access to our history and culture. However, from the perspective of opponents, the government should pour limited money into public sectors such as health care and education services rather than spending it on art. To be more specific, a well-running medical system helps employees build physical and psychological health, which can guarantee them to perform excellently in their careers. In my own opinion, art spending should depend on the level of local development. Developed nations that have built good public facilities and service systems could consider distributing a higher percentage of their income to the art. Whereas, for those less developed areas, where the local government authorities should give priority to satisfying the basic needs of the public.
