Many people argue that in order to improve educational quality continuously, students are encouraged to make comments or even criticism on teachers. Others think the respect and discipline in the classroom will disappear. Which opinion do you prefer?

Some claimed that students should be allowed to give feedbacks or reviews to lecturers in an effort to evolve the education standard. On the contrary, some considered that it may ruin the respectful relationship between teachers and students. To my personal opinion, I side with the idea of students engaging more with teachers for open discussion. Firstly, good education is essential for development of a nation. Teachers and students are the key factor of improving the quality of education, therefore they need more interaction in the classroom. In previous decades, students are more likely to sit and write down the notes while listening to the lecture, which may not be enough for the complete understanding of the lessons. Young learners are full of ideas and curiosities in their mind and it is important to pay attention to their thoughts. Free and open minded discussion in the classroom may lead to the better ideas and can build up the good relationship between teacher and pupil. Secondly, the basic manner and moral subjects should be taught in the class since the elementary level education. I believe this may help prevent in behavioral problems of the students toward teacher and unrest matters in the classroom. If the education system has the firm foundation since the basic level, discipline related affairs may not a problem in high school years. In conclusion, I agree that supporting the free expression of students will have a positive effect on educational standards. Since we can find different solutions for the etiquette of students toward educators, this should not be the reason to shut down the creative ideas and interests of students.
