Junk/Street Food is the most affordable meal for the working class. But health problems due to rampant and uncontrolled consumption are being compounded. It has therefore become imperative for governments to impose a higher tax on them. To what extent do you agree to this arrangement by the government? Give your opinion.

Nowadays, Junk Food is easily available with low price. Hence, it is most comfort food for those who want their meal on spot. Though consumption of strret food is increasing uncontrollably, The goverment charges more tax on them to reduce its use by making it costly. I totaly agree with this step taken by the authority. I personaly opine that people should not depend on fast food largely. To commence with, by relying majorly on unhealthy food, people are welcoming various types of deseases and hence, they become less productive wich is not good for a healthy society. This type of food is majorly interested by public for their less price. So, the desition of imposing higher tax is welcoming as this will increase price of material and it ultimately increase product pricewhich will not affordable by most of the people that means the consumption will automatically decrease. For example, if one plate of meal was charging Rs. X and after tax it will increases to Rs. Y, then less people are tend to buy it. Additionally, as thedemand of fast food is increasing drastically, more people had starded food business without any proper quality check and in uncontrolled environment. They start selling variety of food with very less investment. Moreover, they are trying to sell fusion of some dishes that are not healthy at all. To restrict all these it is necessary to bound them via some goverment rules and regualtions. For instance, street vendors has started selling various types of sweets and savories with expired material. By introducing Foodand Dgugs department, it is now compulsory to get quality certificate from there to start food business. To sum up, I stongly believe that, people should consume hygenic an dhealthy food and for that self dscipline is the best way. Moreover that, they should follow arrangements made by the authority and support them to build a healthy society.
