Today's world is everything digital and I will be sharing my perspective on digital devices: tablets and iPads which are worth getting for studying or not.
Digital note taking became very popular starting from 2020 because of the changes into online schools. The tablet plays a major role in this category due to its convenience. With the tablets along with stylus, annotating on PDF or PowerPoints can be done and those are pretty efficient. Portability of those devices are also really amazing and instead of carrying many notebooks to school, taking a tablet or iPad is more convenient. This also reduces the usage of paper and it somehow saves the environment. Unlimited stationary is also available for free and it saves money a lot. For me, I do take a lot of notes just on my iPad and I rarely use the physical notebooks. It is really clean and organized to take notes in note taking apps and I can find my notes easily in the folders. Moreover, having a tablet makes me more productive. After buying an iPad, I do study a lot more: I do the exercises on workbook PDFs along with annotating the answers on them and check the answers with answer pages on another second split screen and those are really advantageous.
To summarize, tablets are totally worth getting for studying due to their convenience and they have a positive influence on students to study more. On the other hand, Tablets or iPads are not a good choice if you are on a tight budget and have the options between a laptop or a tablet because there are many limited things on tablets and they can't fully replace the laptops. Nevertheless, tablets are still applicable choices for high schoolers or who don't need much features from laptops and last but not least, people who want to be more productive should get a tablet for no doubt.
