The visual demonstrates sea water desalination process which is used to provide a suitable water for drinking. Overall, this process has four stages that are mentioned respectively as pre-treatment, passing through a permeable membrane, post-treatment and storage. Firstly, sea water which contains salt goes through a pre-treatment filter for removing impurities and the backwash returns to the sea. Secondly, water is forced through a membrane under high pressure situation for impurifying and the concentrate returns to the sea similar to the previous stage. In fact, in this stage, salt particles is remained behind the membrane and water molecules is passed to the next stage. Following this, the purified water is entered to a post-step which will become appropriate for drink by adding lime, chlorine and fluoride into it. Subsequently, it is storaged and will be sent to water supply system for usage.
