The human population has been increasing rapidly over the past few decades. With the increasing population, society began to face the problem of housing. There are many solutions about this situation. One of them is reassigning park land for residential development. In this essay I will explain some reasons that causes to housing problem. In the fallowing, I will mention about why I disagree with the reassigning issue. The main reason of housing problem is increasing population. Societies have had to live with limited resources for centuries. With the industrial revolution, job opportunities rised in city centers. For this reason, people living in rural areas began to migrate to city centers. New homes were needed for these newcomers. However, since business centers were established in the same place, this situation caused a space problem. Some of local governments believe that the problem could be solved by reassigning park land for residential development. Because, according to the managers, this land would be better used for housing. I don’t agree with this idea. Just because, this would be a temporary solution unless the growing population is brought under control and job opportunities are provided to rural residents. I do believe that, in order to find the right solution, the problem must first be correctly identified.
