The bar graph shows the households in owned and rented accommodation in England and wales between 1918 and 2011. Overall, it is clear that households in owned accommodation grew steadily until 2011 and households in rented accommodation fell sreadily until 2011 but the same owned and rented stayed at around 50 percent in 1971. Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the owned accommodation stayed at around 30 percent in 1939-1953 and owned increased slowly until 2001, but it dip minimally in 2011. The rented accommodation reached the highest point of around 70 percent in 1918 and rented is nearlly flat from 1939 to 1953 stayed at around 70 percent, but it fell steadily in 2001. Owned and rented the same percent in 1971. In the middle year, the percentage was the same, but each increased and decreased.
