The given table illustrates the value of the imported fish in the US in 1988, 1992, and 2000, while the pie graphs show where these fish came from during the same period.
Overall, the largest source of the fish import was from Canada in 1988, but it plummeted over the course of 12 years. In contrast, the fish import from other countries increased greatly and became the largest import source in 2000. In terms of the value, there was a trend of increase.
The fish imported from Canada accounted for 60% in 1998, but has fallen to 34% and 28% in 1992 and 2000 respectively. On the other hand, the amount of fish that came from other countries increased from 27% to 28% by 19%(1992) and 4% (2000) each. The import from China also rose significantly from 13% to 20% and 30% in 1992 and 2000 respectively.
In terms of the value, there was a noticeable growth of around 2% each year. It was 6. 57 in 1988, and went up by around 2 units each in 1992 and 2000.
