Differences between countries are barely evident these days . Everyone in the world is wearing the same brands and watching the same TV channels and movies. Do you think it is a positive or a negative development?

It is undeniable that the world becomes a village and the cultural gaps are getting smaller because of the internet and social medias. As a result, the global trends become similar in many ways such as clothing brands or TV prpgrammes. Some people see it as a threat to their own traditions whereas for me, I think it is a positive development and can bring benefits not only in economic but also in cultural ways. First and foremost, there will be great opportunities for SME business, especially in fashion industry. Although only big foreign companies such as Zara, LV and Gucci corner the worldwide market in the past, nowadays local ones are also able to export their products to global market via online shopping platforms like E-Bay, Alibaba and Amazon. For example, initally, one of local brand named"PLA Clothing" was only known in the country. However, when its clothes designs are getting to be popular on social media and spreaded widely to neighbouring countries, they became trending fashion among international teenagers. Lots of demands from overseas made this small firm to be a successful one. This leads to improve the country's economy and removes the barriers to international trade. In addition, a country's own culture and tradition can be promoted by art, particularly by flims and TV series. These days, majority of people view dramas and movies on online entertainment channels. Last year, a korean series namely "Squid Game" was broadcasted on Netflix, which is a common online platform used by most audiences. After the viewers rom different nations watched it, they started to be interested in korean customs especially in korean traditional games and candy which played as the most important roles in the plot. As a result, korean language became worldwide popular as well as the rate of country's tourism tripled than the previous years. In conclusion, I believe less differences  between dailylife styles cannot be dangerous for traditional values and these global trends are much better for international economic development. If the residents of the whole world share their interests and civilization with each other in positive ways, the society will be a warm and peaceful place without discriminations on culture, religion and race.
