Dar Al-Hajar is one of the historical places in my country and used to be a castle. It was built in the 18th century by Ali Alomari. This historical place was built on an enormous rock, so because of that it is called (Dar Al-Hajar). Also, it contains sex floors from the original stones, and it has a lot of rooms. When I was a child, I went to Dar Al-Hajar with my family. It was my first time there, so I was amazed when I saw it because of its design and how it was built on that huge rock, and how they built this castle in the past when there were not any advanced building tools like nowadays. I felt like I had travelled back in time while I was discovering the inside of this historical place. Finally, it was an amazing journey. After that journey, I realized that I should discover many historical places to know more and more about our history.
