Cultural Fashion Differences

Fashion design is a very controversial topic among people, since for many it is a form of expression in which clothing transmits a lot of their personalities, but for others it is a fostered culture which they follow. This in the beginning the Romans and Egyptians completely changed, as fashion became the character of each era in which they were evolving and became a status symbol, as it divided the poor people from the rich, yet always following the style and innovating to their personal styles. Instead, the countries of lower regions are a little more conservative in terms of clothing ideas, as they are used as something that must cover your body. The fashion differences in other cultures and how fashion impacts around the world, comparing it with others and seeing its beginnings. Everything tells us that this began in Rome and Egypt as a way to mark people with their social status and also divided the social classes, but for this fashion is a set of garments and accessories which define a person and their tastes according to the time for a given period, but how is that society has evolved and changed too much. The evolution of fashion has been something striking since over time it has changed to different styles since over the years fashion changes at least every decade since a fashion does not last so long because it evolves but this changes according to the area since some countries do not change their way of dressing because their culture does not let them. It is incredible to see how clothing has been marked as a trend and something very important, but also in some places it still has to do with their principles and the culture in which they live, here the difficult thing is the people as people seek a world where they can express themselves and not be judged which is what society demands. A controversial issue in fashion is how it impacts on society because if something has in common these 2 ideas about clothing is that they represent to some extent a status, a status where social classes are divided and some people have evolved with this to say that "For centuries, our clothes have represented our values, our way of thinking, our lifestyle and the perception we have of others and ourselves. this according to Javier Luna (2022)". With what with our clothing we achieve an impact on society although many times the way of dressing can be classified as liberal or conservative, this because in many places it is seen as a form of expression, but in others it is how people express a culture and it is not that they have freedom to dress but as they see it as an offering to their religions using long tunics, almost always accompanied by a short cap, which is used as a service of devotion to their religions, and although this typical dress is something important because it represents their principles many times it has brought problems if people use it incorrectly, which makes you think too much if they use it because they decide to or if it is because they should. On the other hand in other places they have liberal clothes, and although they also have typical clothes only used in special moments, but because they decide so, but normally the society there is something in fashion called TRICKLE-DOWN in which people look for a garment or accessory for the simple fact that it was seen to a person with better economic position or someone famous because we look for what we believe is the best. A serious problem is how we identify with things as we often give them unnecessary weight, but the answer I am looking for with this is to know what sense it makes for Islamic people to force themselves to wear too rigid garments which have rules, that is why I am looking for the hijab according to Common Perplexities(2022)Hijab is an act of obedience, an identity for a Muslim woman, and promotes modesty in society. In short, the hijab is a way for them to follow their God by obeying and respecting Him as it is more than anything else. Liberal or modern fashion is a fashion which shocks a lot with people because it is vain, in which one seeks to look better than the other, this because they seek to look unattainable or powerful, this is one of the things that are still sought from the beginning since it takes up the desire to look superior or extravagant. But modern fashion is not only superior because the main function of this fashion is that people can show themselves as they are and can express themselves through their clothes, so sometimes fashion is divided into different styles according to their personality as it is believed that the person is unique. That is why the liberal is unique because there are many styles but above all there are no rules or limits because you can play with colors and clothing at will, it has become more than a simple clothing is like an art. Concluding fashion can express many things and although we often do not agree with what other people convey we have to respect them, since we can not judge anyone, each person may have a style or even a reason why they dress in a certain way, but here the problem is when a person uses certain clothes by obligation and not by decision. As long as it is not like that it can be interesting to know more about the different people and their different cultures which make them want to dress like that, since in their own way they also seek to interpret something important as it is the respect and devotion they have to their God because for them that is something sacred which they want to share. With this report you can see how fashion has always been and will always be a way to show people a culture or personality which transmits, as can be the status as the more elegant or extravagant means you have more power, but fashion should always be interpreted as something unique that seeks to express and convey that time.
