War. Could anything be worse than that? I can not imagine. When you hear this word, lots of negative things come up with it- death, blood, tears, loss. You may live your everyday life, but suddenlly, it turns 180 degrees. Yesterday your life was happy and carefree, but today it is a nightmare.
Analysing the humanity's history we can see that every century had its war. In every century people fought for something: freedom or territories. It seems like everyone got what they wanted, yes, some lost the wars, some came out as a winner, but in the end, everyone got what they wanted. I could only imagine how it feels like, living your life, when it can end in any minute. It is hard to take in that in 21th century we have war. A month ago my life completely changed. I found out what the air raid alarm is, what keeping up with the news twenty-four-seven is, what being afraid for your closest ones life is. I can only imagine how do people feel like, when they see their cities burning down, dead bodies among the streets. It is dreadfull that innocent people, including children are being killed. They did not deserve it. I am really sorry that today we have to fight to be free and independant. War is probably the worst thing existing. So many lives are taken unfairly, so many tears were shed, and what all this is for? No one knows.
