Some consider that the most essential perspective of their career is their payment while others assume that the profession itself is the most crucial. From my point of view, I agree with those who believe that the job itself is the more crucial. On the one hand, there are groups of people who choose their career by considering their amount of wage. They could support their personal and families expense. For instance, judge careers in the criminal justice system in Thailand tend to receive the highest rate of benefit. They can spend and invest their money for their better lives and hence, they could be focusing on their assignment precisely. On the other hand, I would argue that the job itself is essential. Some duties can help and serve other people. For example, Volunteering staff who work for a remote mountainous area in Thailand for increasing the condition of living of the tribes. Even their career would not provide financial support for them, but their satisfaction could fulfill their purpose of living. Moreover, working in some occupations could provide invaluable experience for those workers such as UN police who work in war-torn countries. They could learn how to work with their multinational co-workers. Their skillsets after completing UN missions will be changed significantly and it may provide them for finding a better career opportunity in their home countries. To conclude, the aspect of looking for a certain job can vary from one to another. Payment, career satisfaction, or gaining experiences can all suggest us to select a career. However, I do recommend that looking to other factors and letting the amount of wage be the last of our selection criteria.
