The maps depict the changes of Stokeford city in 1930 and after construction in 2010. Overall, there were several parts which changed. However, farmland and gardens were vanished in recent development.
First, the area which underwent changes were shops, farmland, garden, and accommodation. In 1930, two shops were located in the north of post office. But, in 2010 the shops were replaced. In the past, there were several farmlands as well in both the North East and South West area. However, in 2010, the construction resulted in new houses in those areas. In the middle of the city, there were three large houses and garden before. In 2010, they were then demolished to be a retirement house.
In fact, there were some areas that still remained. For instance the bridge in north east, post office located in the middle of the city, extended primary school, and river Stoke located in North East.
