Civil Law of Kieran Loveridge one-punch murder on Thomas Kelly

A man from Sydney, named Kieran Loveridge has been charged with assaults and murder, for a one-punch kill on a young 18 year old boy, Thomas Kelly. He was then arrested and accused to be taken into court, after the allegations and accurences that happen during the night of Mr Kelly’s death. Kieran Loveridge was found guilty of manslaughter by the court. He was sentenced to five years and two months. But after the sentance, the family was outraged by the limited amount of time given to Loveridge sentences. They believed that it was not toughened by the law, due to the amount of mishappens Mr Loveridge had made. So, during his next case, he was then given 10 years and two months, which was almost about a double from his previous sentence. The reasoning behind Loveridge judgement case, was because of the fact the he had killed a younger boy, who was under the influnce of alchohol. During his first case, the court had only specified about Loveridge’s cuase of murder and errors he made during the night, However, when his second case occurred, the court then relised the Kieran was toxicated with alcohol. After sticking it out, the court then made a judgement to add more years to his sentence since he had alcohol which wouldv’e toxicated him, and also since he also murder a man during the same night.
