Job suitability for both gender is a debatable course. Some school of thought are of the opinion that a particular profession best suits the male gender. However, others suggest that some occupations are more preferred for female folks. I completely agree with the latter notion because women are fragile and are seen as weaker vessels and some duties can be strenuous. To begin, although there are a plethora of occupations that are more suitable for the male gender and cannot be performed by women owing to the fact some jobs are strenuous and require ample strength to be able to execute these tasks, women in this context may lack the stamina to perform such jobs like bricklaying or electrical wiring. To illustrate, an equal portion of responsibility was allocated to men and women in a construction firm, they were demanded to drill a borehole within ten days. It was surprising to note that men were able to finish up within three day whereas the ladies found it daunting to complete their task owing to the fact they lacked the strength to fulfil the exercise. Furthermore, women are liable to breakdown easily and in a general view, they are portrayed as weaker vessels. This is due to the fact that women’s bodies are wired differently and cannot stand for a long time for example, after childbirth, their bodies need enough time to recuperate in order to be able to do anything, and when they are deprived of this natural process, they can, in turn, fall ill and not able to take up demanding professions like nursing, accounting, medicine et cetera. To sum up, some professions are normal for men to take up while a number of others are best suitable for women and I wholeheartedly agree with this, due to the fact women do not have the utmost strength to carry out some assignments as they are sometimes feeble plus some occupations can be straining.
