Can everything be turned into entertainment?

In today’s society, entertainment in all its forms play a big role in the person's life. We are always looking for new ways to entertain ourselves and distract ourselves from our monotonous lives. To the point where we turn everything into entertainment, but could, or should I say, should everything be turned into entertainment? We as humans hate being bored, so we seek entertainment and run away from dull duties. Making something fun for us raises our motivation and pushes us to work harder, so we had the great idea to turn learning to an entertaining experience. Learning new things such as languages and science could be a bit boring, especially for small children, so with the help of music and games we make people more eager to learn new things and improve themselves. It is also a great way to get information to stick, for example, until now whenever I want to know what letter comes after what, I start singing the ABC song in my head. The knowledge is ingrained into my brain and I use it up to this day. Entertainment has always been a way for us to destress and relax a bit. We like to watch movies and comedy shows so we can for a while put our walls down and take a breath, so it is no wonder that someone came up with a way to use this aspect of us to better our society. Comedians such as the well known Amos use this aspect to raise awareness of serious issues. Seen as we are more susceptible to influence when we are relaxed, entertainments such as comedy could be used to reduce homophobia and racism. On the other hand, turning everything into entertainment is not a good idea. Using entertainment in everyday aspects of life can create serious problems in our society. Due to the overuse of entertainment we forget the importance of things. Take politics for an example, nowadays politicians are more of entertainers performing on a stage, too preoccupied by getting the people to like them to actually explain the ideas behind their cambane. And we put that in the far back of our minds, enjoying the show and not thinking rationally about the countries’ future We have a talent in turning everything into entertainment. Still, just because we can does not mean we should. In my opinion, entertainment should only be used when the benefits of using it overcome the drawbacks. And maybe not as much in life changing aspects such as president selection
