The age-groups of ladies in term of getting the first child in Australia in 1966, 1986, and 2006
are illustrated by these bar graphs.
Overall, in 1966 the largest proportion of delivering first child was at age between 20 and 24, it is about two-thirds of women. While in 2006 the highest percentage was at 30 to 34 years old, it accounted for nearly the half.
First of all, there were multiple fluctuation in ages of women in term of first baby in Australia.
In 1966, the least proportion was at age 40 and above, it accounted for a tiny fracture 3%. The second least percentage was 10%, it was at age 35-39. Additionally, the percentages of age of 19 and age between 25 to 29 are close to each other, they are nearly 40%.
