Bar computer use by gender

The bar chart illustrates how many hours males and females used computers for work and relaxing during the period of 20 years, between 1990 and 2000. It is clear from the chart that the amount of time both sexes used computers spent on work and leisure increased moderately over the period shown. Noticeably, the figures for men were much higher than those for women. At the beginning, males spent time using the computer for job purposes almost equal to females, roughly 5. 5 hours. In 2000, the figures for men to keep constant while this for women declined to precisely 5 hours. During the last 10 years, the number of hours males and females used computers for work grew dramatically and peaked at more than 6 hours and just under 6 hours respectively. In 1990, the amount of time both sexes used this device for entertainment was much lower than that of work, men only 2 and women nearly 1 hours. Over a 20-year period, the figures for males and females rose substantially and became the highest figures in 2010 with more than 3 hours and exactly 2 hours respectively.
