These days travel and tourism industry has been burgeoning from the last two decades and brings few benefits to the nations, also represent their culture and tradition. Over the year, there has been an argument related to a tourist who are from different countries, whether they should pay bit higher amount to visit cultural and historic places in comparison of locals. However, I completely accord with the above aforementioned statement that they should pay higher with the appropriate reason which I will elaborate in the upcoming paragraphs. As there are number of sources that contributes to the gross domestic product similarly tourism is one of the sectors which helps to flourish economy. To illustrate it, when international traveller visits cultural and historic places, although pay high amount to visit which contribute more profits to state government which aid them to maintain it for long time and opens job opportunity to the locals. Moreover, if local residents pay same amount as foreigner might they lose their interest and also being a tax payer, they are already paid tax to the government for welfare of society. Apart from this, while paying high amount for the historical places. Tourist might feel more satisfying rather than buying inexpensive tickets. To elaborate it, some places such as Taj mahal have their own identity as a seven wonder in world and number of overseas travellers visit to see beautiful monument, where they find it is cheaper than their expectation will leads to dissatisfaction. In addition, government should provide good services to those who especially come from overseas. To encapsulate, from the above mentioned statement it can be analyse that international visitors has to pay high as compared to residence as it bring number of benefit not only to the nation but also give more jobs opportunity to local people.
