Which is better for children’s education: 9-month study and 3-month break or 3-month study and 1-month break?

Which is better for children’s education: 9-month study and 3-month break or 3-month study and 1-month break? m0D2K
There is no shortage of opinion on whether students should study for 3 months and take a one-month break or study for 9 months in a roll than take a 3-month break. If I have the chance to choose, I will definitely prefer the latter one. I firmly hold the belief that longer semesters and breaking time would benefit students' personal development for a number of reasons, which will be developed in the subsequent paragraphs. To begin with, a longer semester can be an asset to students by maintaining their concentration. Believe it or not, the majority of students need time to adjust themselves to the schedule of school, which can be easily distracted by breaks or holidays. Hence, lengthening the semesters would help students set their timetable, so as to contribute to their study efficiency. I have to admit that my own opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my personal experience. When I was attending high school, I found it difficult to adjust myself after breaks. That is the reason why I often felt tired and was reluctant to study at the beginning of each semester. However, when I had finally accommodated myself to the heavy load of studying, it was time for another break. Judging from this, I have to say if there were 9 months a semester, I would have achieved higher academic performance during high school. For this reason, I could not resist the lure of 9-month study and 3-month break. Furthermore, a longer period of break is a valuable time for students. During the traditional one-month breaks, I always find it barely possible to do things I want. Yet if our breaks turn out to be three times longer, we can make full use of them. Drawing from my own experience, last year I was lucky to be admitted to become a research assistant in professor Walt's laboratory, where I gained much theoretical knowledge and picked up numerous experimental skills in neuroscience. Sadly, I could only be there for one month and a half, due to the fact that I was only available during summer vacations. Consequently, I lost a precious chance to be a co-author of a scientific paper. It is certainly clear to see that, If there were more time during breaks, students could make full use of it to satisfy their own needs. In light of the reasons mentioned above, I strongly believe that lengthened semesters and break time will be constructive to students' personal development, since they can be more concentrated at school, and better arrange their vacations.
