Ankara is the capital of turkey and its location in the middle of Turkey. İts neighbours are Konya, Kırşehir, Bolu, etc. Ankara has been capital of Turkey since 1923. It has a lot of ancient place from the Romas and museums like Anatolion civilization museum, Rahmi Koç museum etc. Ankara’s name came from Angora, who were living here before. Ankara’s climate is a steppe climate. In the summers, hot and dry; in the winters, cold and snowly. In Ankara, you can visit Anıtkabir to show to your respect and honour. After that you can go to Lake of Mogan and sit near of lake, also you can ride a bike around of the lake. Ankara has famous restaurants which called ASPAVA. You should try SSK and beyti. They are very delicious and famous foods in Ankara. Its meaning is ‘’God give you health, Money, amen. ’’ If you are a student, you can go Bahçeli Street or Tunalı Street to meet your friends and drink or eat something, also you can play board game in Bahçeli in Da Vinci’s Place.
