All education, primary, secondary and further education, should be free to all people and paid for by the government. 7Dx9X
Since ever education has been one of the most important majors in any civilization. Nowadays, governments are trying to facilitate the learning process in every way possible. However, while facilitating education for people is a noble goal indeed, should it be free completely for all people, and for all education levels? To me, I believe that education should be accessible and free for early education, and to be more selective in higher education levels.
From the first glance, we can find that this law has so many benefits to the society. First of all, it helps to spread the awareness of some of the major problems the world is facing. For example, teaching about the environment will aid in spreading the awareness about pollution, thus make the residents more willing to help solve the crisis rather than making it worse. Secondly, offering education to all people will result in the country prospering even more. For instance, when we provide education for all, especially for those who cannot afford it, we will, in this way, increase the number of those who will be ready to help the country flourish, by their inventions and discoveries.
On the other side, establishing such low might have some bad consequences. To begin with, some people might not put this facility in the right use. People usually tend to value the thing that they worked hard for, so if education was easily obtainable, people may simply take it for granted and not appreciate it, thus not use it properly. Moreover, it might result in reducing the quality of education in that country. By issuing such low, international schools and universities will no longer be available, since they would always be outnumbered by free education, and one cannot neglect their role in enhancing the quality of education generally.
In conclusion, it could be seen that this law has its benefits and drawbacks. As it helps in spreading awareness regarding serious matters, and aid the country with researchers and scientists. However, one should not overlook its threats to the society, as it might be misused and can reduce the quality of education. I believe that the best option lies in between, as I mentioned before with some modification, this law can serve it propose avoiding the potential consequences.
