Dear Mr Barnes, I am writing to apologize for not being warned you about my absence in the seminar which was hold on 12th April. Much to my regret I couldn't come to the office because of two reasons. Firstly, as you know my mother is ill. If you remember I had mentioned about it in our last conversation. For that reason on 1oth April I went to village to visit my mother. As she was hardly sick I couldn't return back on that day. Secondly, the internet was awful to warn you about my case. These are the reasons why I was absent on seminar day. I think you can understand me. Feeling my responsibility to the project, which should be done on 12th April I am ready to present it in any time you would prefer. I hope you will accept my sincere apologies for my absence.
