It is indeed unfortunate that people around the children put more pressure on them whether we talked about their studies or for future success. Even parents, being the most caring persons in their life, pressurize them by comparing them with other children of their age. There are many reasons behind this. Firstly, parents want their ward to be at the peak of success than anyone else. Secondly, peer pressure on parents makes them do so without the intention of harming their children. Lastly, they don't actually understand the pace of the child and in terms of motivating them, they constantly passing the comments good or bad that their ward gets success in the particular field. Will this pressurization on children made them successful? No, not at all even they degraded their determination to perform better in the situation they are in or they are facing. In my point of view, this is definitely lead to a negative development of a child. However, children want to succeed in the field of their own but constant pressure from parents irritates or demotivating them instead of getting success. Moreover, this demotivational act, leaves a stressful impact, that they do not even compete with their colleagues also. Being a teacher, I have faced many such experiences from the parents of my students. One of the worst experiences, I am sharing with you. A topper student of my class faced a declining phase of her life because of pressure put by their parents to get the highest score in the examination. Depression has been the worst stage of her life. This has resulted in a negative impact on her mind and she had gone into the phase where she denied talking to anyone and left her studies too. On the other hand, their parents didn't even realize what they did to their brilliant child. From my observation, I concluded that pressure, not only from parents but from any individual made the raw mind of children full of stress. They never ever succeed in life under such kind of pressure from their loved ones who only hope for the success of their children. I totally recommend not to give unnecessary burden on the positive mind of their children intensionally or unintentionally.
