Why should Mexico provide children protection?

There are several types of child abuse caused by adults, which is violent and threatening for them, sometimes it is intentional, but not ever, after intentional, it is due to negligence. Is when a child is intentionally harmed by someone, furthermore it can be sexual or emotional. Besides, it can be over a period of time. Why should Mexico provide children protection? To forget or to ignore the infant's basic needs, such as food, clothes or even having a bed, they are not properly supervised or kept safe. It also turns out that parents do not provide love, affection and attention needed. In other circumstances, children are not healthy, as they used to be and they are constantly sick. In some cases custodians are not interested in the educational child’s life. From time to time, it happens that children are sexually abused, they do not have the conscience of what they are going through while being abused, besides they can feel confused due to the mistreatment. As well as the children being exploited physically, it is realized that they might be injured as a result of a fight with the parents. Scientifics made a study of how many kids were abused physically and it appears that 1 of each 20 children have been mistreated in that way throughout their life. Mexico, the child abuse cases have up to 39%. While 2, 081 cases were registered in 2015, the number rose to 2, 919 in 2018. Mexico has the highest amount of youths sexually abused. Approximately 701 infants registered in 2018, being more frequent among girls, 58% than boys, which is 42% It affects the infant psychologically, cognitively and behaviorally. To cure the victim’s trauma might take years. Some examples of short- term consequences are: anguish, helplessness, irritability, rebellion, shame, generalized fear and low self-esteem. And in a long term can be: sexual dysfunctions, major depression, post- traumatic stress disorder, sexual promiscuity, and social maladjustment. Prevention may promote healthy attitudes and lifestyles, or habits, creating conditions for the alternative development of individuals and social groups. Strategies that can be taken to promote and reduce the sexual abuse problems. It is important that parents and teachers, psychologists, doctors or service providers within areas in which we work with children are achieved see those signals and changes in young abuse victims. Similarly, carrying out primary prevention is not enough to reduce the crime cases, as it is a very vulnerable population. The consequences that derive in the victims are many and lead to problems that often persist for the rest of their lives. I can conclude that it is necessary to emphasize the sensitization and awareness that this type of crime happens more than we would expect, and most of the time it happens within the same family. In the same way, within the educational areas in which the society sector would serve to develop greater primary preventions of this situation, emphasizing self-care, sex education and keeping parents informed of the warning signals and the most effective ways to address prevention for their children.
