Due to the fact people need many for buy the eats, fruits, vegetables etc. If a person don't work, anyone don't give many to him or her. Also our world is really enormous and people want to life in the world. That time, we have to work. Because if people don't work, they can't live. For example a person has a farm. However he doesn't have fruits or vegetables and a job. If he go to a supermarket for buy the needs, the person can't buy anything. Anyone don't give free. Then he use his farm and he has lots of kind fruits and vegetables. He can eat them at the moment. As a result all people have to work and they can did it.
