Overall, the village has expanded its size over time and merged with Fonton City. Moreover, there is a significant change in the infrastructural facilities and houses during given timescale. In 1962, Meadowside was an isolated village with no connection with Fonton and only one narrow road ran through it from the West to the North; however, there was a railway passing through Fonton. When considering the year 1985, new facilities were introduced to Meadowside including a housing estate, a leisure complex and a supermarket. Further, the previous small road was converted to the main road and extended to the west linking the Fonton and the village. Currently, Meadowside has become a suburb that completely joined with Fonton. Further, a new business park has been built at the southern end and a hotel at the northern side. The railway line has been extended to the west connecting two cities and a train station has been established in front of the business park.
