When will Thai and Saudi Arabia governments be set free from monarchies?

Did you know? Thailand and Saudi Arabia monarchies are two Asian countries which rank side by side when it comes to monarchic wealth. However, why should we scholars pay careful attention to this topic? To answer this, one should remember that all Saudi Arabians can access necessities for living conditions, such as education. As Alquirani (2010) argued, ' today, education is provided to all socioeconomic classes, and the government now compensates for every student's education. Such allowance makes them shape people's perceptions and become more robust and stable simultaneously. These relations do not exist in Thailand or elsewhere in the World except in the Scandinavian countries. Therefore, vesting from this parallelism, I highly suspect the monarchic structure will be abolished. In other words, under these circumstances, the Thai government will be set free from the monarchy earlier than their counterparts. Firstly, education plays a significant role in shaping people's behaviour the way they do. As (Glaser. , et al. 2007) have developed an argument from (Almond & Verba, 1989), stating that a man with less education or no education is a different political player than a man with more education. This means that education furthers one's vision towards politics. Moreover, if someone does not study adequately, it will reflect in different voting turnouts according to their preferences; likewise, becoming more educated can lead to different political outcomes. Such an example can be, as (Chong & Gradstein, 2015) argue, 'only in democratic regimes may education serve to further democracy; in non-democratic environments, the effect can be the opposite. From such a statement, it can be argued that different political institutions and levels of education can also either increase or nose-dive the democratic index of each nation. ​On the other hand, how else can scholars prove how Thailand is currently transitioning into a purely democratic country? The supporting evidence from the (Roser & Herre, 2013) demographic shows Thailand and their monarchy have a relatively weaker relationship than an arbitrary country. Consequently, their electoral democracy index is higher, albeit slightly dropped in 2021. The reason why democratic statistics experienced a slight decline is due to the military coup government seized power in 2014. This explains that Thailand and Saudi Arabia encounter wholly opposite positions. Despite the benefits of monarchies, it is noteworthy to understand what else both countries share. This rhetorical question can be answered in one word, 'religions'—most Buddhists in Thailand and Islamists in Saudi Arabia.
