It is been observed that a class of people feel that enhancement in technology is causing a threat to our traditional values and culture. In my discourse ahead, various reasons will be discussed with justifications for how technology helps restore our traditions along with negative effects of the same.
First and foremost, in today's time there are many families who don't stay with their parents or grandparents due to various reasons like they have jobs in other cities or they are out of country for study purpose. However, with the help of internet they can stay connected with them and can know about rituals to be followed, the way how their ancestors use to celebrate festivals or any special occasions. Secondly, with the use of various modern gadgets we can make traditional delicacies at home rather than getting it from the shops. And lastly, with the help of technological advancement one can even restore antique handicraft items, sculptures, ornaments and even garments. For e. g. mumies are restored for years by using various chemicals which are result of technological advancements.
On contrary, there are fellows who feel it the other way because, they think that increase in use of technology in all aspects will fade the originality of culture. Future of a nation is dependent on its youth who are attracted by Western countries as they use internet a lot by which they get to know what is happening in other nations which feels like more attractive and fancy leading them to forget their own traditions and culture.
Thus, to conclude like every coin has two sides; technological upgradation results into both positive and negative aspects. It all depends on oneself how we make use of it.
