views on consumerist culture

views on consumerist culture R8oGM
Despite we are living in a consumerist culture where many people believe in buying the things whether it is useful for them or not. Moreover, some of them says it’s a positive development to enhance the economic status. This essay will examine the positive and negative aspects and provides a conclusion. The aspect of positiveness is, nowadays people are consuming or buying the things which also helps in boost up the economy of the entire country, due to which they have rage to work more and more to fulfill their needs. It also provides the luxurious and snug life to them. However, people have more time for themselves. For an instance, an advanced technology helps the women to overcome the burden in their household chores and this also enhance the lifestyle. On the other hand, this shows the negative aspects as well people are addicted to acquire the things more and more without any need of them. In contrast, the poor people are still unable to beat the level of middle class. In my opinion, it should be control by the government so in future there should not be the discrimination between the classes. This advanced culture leads to many diseases and disorders as people are more idle. For example, the usage of mobile phones is being increased which lead to many disorders like weaken of eyesight, concentration and so on. In addition to this, the rays which are transmitted are very harmful for the human body. To conclude, people should not pick up the things unless they use them in their everyday life. In my opinion there should be balance in while buying materialistic things.
