Students are taught multiple subjects in school. This includes mathematics, science, history, geography, etc. Each student have a chance to select the subject to proceed in their career. But nowadays, it is noticed that students are under valuing history. This is because of people's attitude toward history have changed. General public think it has no value in today's world.
Today's world has grown on basis of science and technology. World needs more people who can do new invention and make lives easier, faster and safer. We need updated civil engineering to make comfortable and strong houses. We faster smatphones and electronic vehicles. This is one of the reason that people have started ingnoring history. Due to its under valuation, there has been lack of funds in school and colleges which indirectly leads children to choose anything other subject than history.
However, there are many things which we are yet to learn from our ancestors. For example, inspite of no modern architecture and engineeing, how were Pyramids made long ago? If we had secret to the its creation, we might be able to create wonders by mixing it with modern structural engineering. Nobody knows who invented wheel, but it is still playing major part in our daily lives. We have many theories regarding how humans were formed, but we are still to find right answer. We have grown because of improvements in past. Humanity has rich culture in form of art, architecture, food, writings, etc, . These all things binds us with our history and helps us to find answers to unknown.
Yes, history may not helps us to invent next generation computer or smartphone. But it is definately worth pertaining because of its richness.
