Felixstone Property built on the banks of a sea on36X
Felixstone, a property on a square piece of land developed at the bank of a sea in 1967.
The property had undergone some significant changes as new structures and facilities were such as contained the following: A golf course, shops, A farmland, trees, Dunes, Hotel, Cafe, Fish Market, Mariner and Pier platform to the sea.
In 1967, to access Felixstone property, you will come in from the North through High Street or from the south through the sea. To the North East of the High Street were some block of shops and a farmland. To the North west of the High Street, were some block of shops and a Golf AGCourse. At the end of the High Street, is a pathway that literally separates the facilities in the North from the South. To the Southeast, you have the Fish Market. Right behind the Fish Market is a Mariner with a Pier leading out to the Sea. From the Southwest, you have some trees and Dunes. Next to the Dunes is a Hotel. And a centrally located Cafe, built between the Hotel in the Southwest and the Fish Market in the Southeast.
In 2001, the redevelopment of Felixstone brought in some changes to the landscape. While the Golf course and the block of shops in the Northeast were retained, the block of shops in the Northeast were converted to Apartments. The farmland in the Northeast gave way to hosting a swimming pool, a hotel and two tennis courts. The pathway of 1967 was retained. The Fish Market and the Mariner of 1967 in the Southeast gave way to a Private Beach. The Southwest retained the trees and Dunes but at the base of the Dunes was built some Wind Turbines. A car park was built next to the Hotel of 1967 and a Public Beach was carved out right behind the cafe. It is worthy to note that Felixstone retained its basic elements of trees, dunes, golf course, hotel and cafe, despite significant changes effected in the landscape in 2001.
