USE OF CHILD LABOUR IN INDIA

Child labour is destructive to society in India today and int he past because of poverty, social and economic backwardness and lack of education opportunities for children. This essay will provide the most honest look at reasons and solution of child labour in India. The first reason and also the most popular reason is the curse of poverty. Children are regarded as the family's helpful hands. Controlling child labour is nearly impossible in poor nations since children must not only sustain themselves but also their family and provide for them. Because of the high percentage of unemployment and underemployment caused by poverty, parents are forced to put their children to work for poor salaries. Therefore, it is partly asserted that the biggest reason for child labor abuse is poverty In the light of the fact that this problem may come from various factors, one of them is that social and economic backwardness. The fundamental reason for child send their children to school. As a result, their children are forced to work as children. Because of illiteracy, many parents are unaware of numerous resources and initiatives for their children's education. Furthermore, ignorant parents are unaware of the effects of child labor on their children. Poverty and unemployment provide a compulsive basis for rural households to engage children in diverse chores. Overall, economic and social backwardness is one of the problems that concern the government and more concrete measures are needed to reduce the rate of child labor. Last but not least also one of the most important reasons is lack of educational resources. Even after 72 years of independence, there are still cases where children are denied their fundamental right to an education. There are many of villages in our country that lack adequate educational facilities. And if there is any, it is a long way away. In India, administrative laxity is partly to blame for child labour. The poor families who cannot afford to educate their children are the hardest affected. When there are no inexpensive schools for underprivileged children to attend, they become illiterate and defenceless. Children are compelled to live without studying. And such compulsions might occasionally lead kids into the trap of child labour in India. In summary, the lack of education is one of the main and important causes of child labor from a very young age and this is a danger to the future of India. In summary, given the foregoing, it can be asserted that Child Labor is a significant impediment to the economic and social growth of the country. Children involved in various fields do not receive essential education, have to live a life of poverty or because of economic and social backwardness. The government should take a number of initiatives to tackle child labor such as creating learning opportunities and investing in education to address the problem of lack of education, creating opportunities for homeless people, children orphans in shelters or raising society's awareness of the risks of children going to work too early, which will be one of the greatest dangers to economic development.
