Twilight. Fascinating, moving, and overrated

If you are searching for a fabulous, captivating, and quite intriguing film, then you definitely should watch the first part of the “Twilight” series. These movies were based on a succession of novels written by Stephenie Meyer. It’s a lovely, romantic story about a magnificent, 107-year-old vampire who falls in love with an adorable, young, seventeen-year-old girl. The fundamental problem of the plot tells us about the main features of the differences between just humans and fantasy characters, like vampires (werewolves). Furthermore, it informs us about a problem that it caused. In the first scene, we hear the monologue of the main female protagonist, Isabella (Bella) Swan, who has moved from Arizona to Forks, Washington. Her mother has already remarried to a minor league baseball player who travels frequently, so her daughter must live with his father until they can find permanent residence. Bella enters a new, quite typical American high school, where she meets new classmates. They inform her about a group of students, the Cullen family, who are quite creepy and weird to everyone at the school. In the biology class, the person who sits next to Bella is Edward Cullen, a key male protagonist, who behaves extremely eccentrically at the first of their meetings. As the characters get to know each other better, Bella realizes Edward is a vampire and falls in love with him in a truly pure and simple, deep love. They started dating and Edward decided to meet Bella with his parents, which is not completely a bad idea, for their relationship. However, Edward’s house is full of vampires, which is quite dangerous for a human. Although, Bella comes to his place and explores properly his interests and unique vampire abilities. After some time, Cullen’s family meets another group of vampires, and one special of them threatens to murder Bella. The film ends with Edward’s victory over him and a fascinating scene of her rescuing. There are plenty of negative comments on the Internet related to this film. Firstly, we see comments where people discuss the absolutely disgusting and ungifted acting of the actors and the extremely inane special effects of the film’s atmosphere. Next, we can observe some positive notes about the great and fascinating succession of a plot’s moving and superior adaptation of a novel. Furthermore, I can see numerous devoted fans who are always eagerly awaiting new episodes. Honestly speaking, I entirely agree with a negative part of comments and different reviews and find this film extremely overrated and predictable. In some fundamental scenes in the film, Kristen Stewart (Bella) plays awful and sometimes hilarious, which is a bad note for a romantic film. This fact extremely disappointed me and left me with a feeling of dissatisfaction with episodes. Furthermore, Robert Pattinson’s actor play is not as good as I expected too. In some moments his face gains silly and totally mad features, which is really remarkable and extremely encouraging. I also need to emphasize that the situation with special effects is much better than with cast because in 2008 it was a new word in computer technologies for creating a film. So, I suppose, you would get some unforgettable impression about several episodes. Personally, you would not really hear nice and intriguing music in this film, because there isn’t much importance in this. Even though you have already heard about the different negative and positive opinions of other people, you should really observe this film if you are interested in a plot that discovered a new word in the fantasy genre and brought up a huge generation of young people. This film left me totally unsatisfied and disappointed, but it is absolutely my opinion. In a conclusion, I need to say that this film is worth watching if you are searching for a plot that doesn’t lack plenty of fascinating facts, stories, and a really talented cast. Besides, if you need to see the first experience with using new technologies for fantasy effects in those times.
