There seem to be an increase number of crime committed each year, some think that the best way to use as deterrent is death penalty, others believe that there are other measures needed. Discuss both sides.

In this essay i will, Talk about people saying which actions should be taken to prevent serious crimes from increasing each year. Some people think that the best way to have crimes from increasing is by using death penalty as a deterrant. Pople think that this will make criminals no to do more crimes which true but that does not mean most of them them will stop doing them because there is a reason some criminals are called Serial criminals because they do not care about the punisment most of the time. Second by using death penalty will only make criminals find new ways to do their crimes and not get caught. Which means death penalty will not stop them from doing them. Lastly, What if dath penalty is used on a person who did not do the crime because someone framed him or he was forced to do it. While, Others believe that it is better by taking other measures that will be needed. Also, This will not stop serious crimes. We already have enough measures to catch criminals by their fingertips, face photos, find people that they knows them or family and by DNA. Criminals knows that police will use these kind of methods to identifying who they are and where there are but they still keep doing crime even though they know they might get caught which means it will not stop them. In my conclusion, Death penalty must only be used on dangarous criminals or serial killers and that taking other measures will not do much in help on reducing crimes.
