The diagrams illustrate the modifications in Westley from the year 1815 to present.
Overall, it could be concluded that the region has developed to a residential and commercial area, rather than an agricultural site by large.
First and foremost, the crops have been cut down to pave way for the construction of a railway line. Secondly, it also evident that the natural spaces consisting of plantation have been cleared up in order to build the Lenton Housing Estate, alongside other apartments and houses close to the territory. In addition, the side opposite to this, which used to be Lord Westley's House, has been reconstructed to include two different buildings for a hotel and the Red Lion. Furthermore, a few new facilities have been established in the area. These include the museum, the sports centre, and a shopping mall.
Nonetheless, the lake Lenton, along with the Town Hall and Market Square, have been left untouched.
