The demonstrated table manifest the hectares of forested area in various regions all over the world in three different years 1990, 2000, and 2005. Overall, after a thorough analysis of the given data, what can be seen is that the extent of the forested land reached the highest level in Europe, while in Oceania, the proportion of forest fell over time. In 1990, Europe has recorded 989 million hectares of the forested region, which was the major level among all countries. However, Oceania score the minor level, as it was 199 million hectares. In 2000, the proportion of forest has been decline in all countries except for Europe, which witness a slight increase in its hectare as it recorded 998 million. ​ Dealing with the last year (2005), the number of lands soared in Europe, and Asia as it reached 1001, and 584 million hectares, respectively. Whilst, the distance decrease in the following continents: Africa 691, Oceania 197, and South America 882 million. Regarding North America, the forested space was the same as what has been recorded in 2000, as it reach 705 million hectares.
