Overall, after a thorough analysis of the given data, what can be seen is that the extent of the forested land reached the highest level in Europe, while in Oceania, the proportion of forest fell over time. In 1990, Europe has recorded 989 million hectares of the forested region, which was the major level among all countries. However, Oceania score the minor level, as it was 199 million hectares. In 2000, the proportion of forest has been decline in all countries except for Europe, which witness a slight increase in its hectare as it recorded 998 million. ​ Dealing with the last year (2005), the number of lands soared in Europe, and Asia as it reached 1001, and 584 million hectares, respectively.
