The reading passage explains the three reasons that explain the Roman Empire which was the largest empire of the Classical Antiquity period and one of the largest in world history, became so powerful. The lecture then built upon those ideas to give a more comprehensive picture. The first evidence was their large armies that occupied the lands of other countries.
