Many people support use of animals for testing medicines for humans. Others believe it isn’t appropriate to use animals for such experiments. Discuss both views

A portion of population feel that the use of the animals to experiment the viability of the human medicine is inhuman and unnecessary. However, other people believe that they are crucial for medicinal point, I personally believe that animals are needed for the proper examination of the medicine before being used in humans. This essay points reasoning of both sides as well as depicts my personal opinion. Many people feel that experiment on animal is an inhuman act as this could harm the animal and lead to their death. The animals also have rights as being part of this earth. The animals play an important role in the ecosystem's balance. Without, the animals, the humans life would not be possible on earth. As said by many human rights activist, the earth is equal for both animals and humans. Rather, more ways to test the medicines should be developed. On the other hand, people point out that animals are pivotal in testing medicines that would help them to develop and advance the medicine technology for the betterment of the world. For example, when the world was plagued with chicken pox, the experiment using the animal resulted in supressing the world wide pandemic and death. The use of the animals has always played important part in developing effective medicine and fighting pandemics throughout the history. In my opinion, the experiment on the animal is vital because it concerns the human safety. It is unwise to use the experiment directly on human as this would cause unknown side effects that would not only affect the individual but also the community. Until and unless, some other effective method for testing the medicine is not developed, it is necessary to use animals for experiment.
