Moreover, this has become more evident to me after watching a studio discussion on the matter. Taking this into account, the main question is which role of music is more significant in society? To start with, enriching people’s lives seems to be the most vital role of a good song, allowing listeners to connect with their deepest emotions. No sooner does you turn on the radio and listen the singer you love you fell better if you were sad, as well as you can celebrate an event and fell blissfully happy with music. Nevertheless, a drawback can be the possibility of finding out an unethical lyric, as happens listening to several reggaeton songs. In addition to this, educating young children through music might well be really beneficial to express their feeling, as well as can be useful to learn composition skills in order to activate logical and mathematical thinking in a creative way. Being conscious of the importance of being respectful and ethical also with lyrics. For these reasons, something along the lines of implementing the acquisition of musical abilities should be considered in schools. In the light of the above, I hold the view that if we were to tackle these issues our society would benefit from music in different ways. However, due to direct impact in everyday emotions and the way we deal with our personal battles, I would pay greater attention to the role of music in enriching our lives.
