The presented line graph illustrates the comparison between Canada, Australia and European community in wheat exports from 1985 to 1990
In first year 1985 to 1986, the average export of three countries was 17 million tonnes. In the same period, there was a slight decrease in Australia and Canada; however, the export of European community has increased.
In the next two years the trends changed interestingly. Canada had reached at its pick point in these years, which was 25 million tonnes, whereas, Australia had shown gradual fall and got position of approximately 12 million tonnes. In year 1986 to 1987, wheat export of European community had increased slightly and then remained unchanged for next one year.
From 1988 to 1990 shown erratic patterns, where Canadian export plummeted in in first year but it recovered quickly in next year and reached more than 19 million tonnes. On the other hand, European community had illustrated gradual upsurge and became the biggest exporter. Australian export kept falling and reached at rock bottom at nearly 10 million tonnes.
Overview, it can be analyzed that European community had shown upward trend, while, Australia became the lowest wheat exporter.
